Pip, KC and Lone Pigeon were all "onstage" for the Happy Song at the Village in February 2005.
Except for Lone Pigeon, of course.
Was it not him singing?
Oh god - i remember that now!
He was doing all the Rolling Stone shapes!
I totally forgot he was at that.
What a great gig that was. Andrew Tully from Avalanche mentioned it on Vic's radio show the other week. The conversation was about ticket stubbs you keep in your sock drawer - and he said the tickets for the Village show was definitely one of them. Nice, eh?

thank god some geezer saved the installation.
and what ever happened to the water tickets?
He's a hero, whoever he was!
And OK, I'm biased, but I think those tickets were the shiznit. I've still got mine up in the living room - both halves. And the water tickets never happened, but CS will have a bit more time on his hands now, so who knows?

a while ago back when fence played aikmans on wednesday nights i took my mate along for his first fence gig. upon arriving we doubled the audience, and made it more audience than players, as it was the three andersons sitting down front. my mate tried to start a conversation with me but he was rapidly told to shut the fudge up, in the politest manner possible, see this kind of thing doesnt happen very often, he was pretty much transfixed soon after anyway. sublime night and as the pub rapidly got busier it felt like they were intruding, but that ten fifteen minutes or so were just sublime.
