We are Deaf Mutes. We are Vic and Reuben and we live in Edinburgh. We record music in one of our bedrooms with a computer, some keyboards, some microphones and some guitars. We have been making music for years in various bands that nobody liked, then decided to do something different. It’s quite possible that nobody will like what we’re doing now either, but we’re not too bothered. Our music started in the studio / bedroom and has now ventured onstage to play live, with the help of Uncle Beesly and Big Mark on bass and drums respectively. Thanks goes to them, they are now Deaf Mutes if they want to be. Thanks and respect also goes to Fence for liking our music and releasing it. We produce unabashed, epic, orchestral, psychedelic pop music for hearts and minds, and no concession to fashion is made. We hope you like our LP. There are 10 tracks on it – 9 with words and one instrumental. It’s pretty bombastic in places and extremely melodic throughout. Maybe you’d like to buy a copy of it from Fence Records.
