Jon Hopkins writes and performs electronic music, and has been doing so for the last eight years or so.

He regularly collaborates with Brian Eno and King Creosote, occasionally supports Imogen Heap, composes for HBO, and remixes acts such as Tunng, Chris Coco, and Magnétophone amongst many others.  In 2008 he worked with Eno on Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida’ album, and has a co-write on several tracks.

Jon has released two critically acclaimed solo albums with the Just Music label, and 2009 saw the release of his debut for Domino Records – entitled ‘Insides’.  This was also acclaimed by critics.  They love him.

We love Jon, too.  He’s worked on King Creosote’s albums most recent studio efforts (Bombshell and Flick The Vs), contributed to Fence compilations (Electric Fence) and produced some outstanding music on the De-Fence sub-label, as part of their 10X10 series (10X10:02).
