Shipping costs

The cost of shipping (postage and packaging) is calculated for you within our checkout and will come up automatically when you pay at PayPal.

Our shipping costs cover two zones - UK and International - and vary depending on whether your order is for merchandise or tickets.

Merchandise

UK Merchandise Shipping: 15% on orders over £10. There is a flat shipping rate of £1.50 on every order under £10.

International Merchandise Shippng: 20% on orders over £10. There is a flat shipping rate of £2.00 on every order under £10.

Tickets

UK Tickets Shipping: A flat charge of £1.50, however many tickets you buy.

International Ticket Shipping: A flat rate of £2.00, however many tickets you buy.

But if you buy some merchandise and pay the postage on that, we'll stick the tickets in for free!

General ordering information

Select items from the shop, and add them to your cart, by clicking "add to cart". You can change the quantity you desire at the "view my cart" page. Select the quantity you wish from the drop-down menu, and click "update quantity".

All orders are processed via PayPal. Fence Records will send you an email to confirm your order within 5 days.

Most orders are posted out within 24 hours of receiving them. However, there are times when the shop is particularly busy - so please allow 14 days for delivery of your item.

Mailorder information

If you don't have a credit/debit card, or an account with PayPal, you may wish to order items by mail order. We can accept cheque or postal order (not cash). All payments must be in pound sterling (£) - so no international mail orders, please.

ALL orders must include shipping, so be sure to add the right amount (see shipping rates above) to your order.

All payments made through www.thefenceshop.com are processed via PayPal. You don't need a PayPal account to purchase items - as PayPal can accept payment through most major credit/debit cards.

Is it secure?

Because all the payments are processed via PayPal, all the security is done by PayPal. They have all sorts of super duper security systems that we don't have in Anstruther. If you want to know more, visit their security information centre.

My item didn't arrive

If you are ordering via the webshop, please allow 14 days for delivery.

If you are ordering via mail order, please allow 28 days for delivery.

If you order hasn't arrived after this time, send us an email. Sometimes we need a nudge.

Why can I only buy 5?

Here, at Fence Records, we deal in limited quantities. All of our Picket Fence titles are assembled by hand. All of our real CD's are manufactured in limited quantities - usually only 500 or 1000. If you want to buy more than 5 copies of a specific item, let us know by email.

Basically, this measure has been taken to prevent touts from buying up a load of Homegame tickets in one go. We have the power to refund any payments we receive via PayPal - and we don't send out tickets for our events until near the date. Spread the Fence love, people.
