Silver Columns -The Pictish Trail’s latest electro-pop project, with his friend Adem – released their debut album, YES AND DANCE, on the Moshi Moshi label in June.  And a corking album it is too.  Have you heard it yet?  Oh it’s brilliant, a must-hear etc etc.

The pair are playing the Edinburgh Festival, at the Bongo Club, late-night on Friday 13th August, and as part of Haarfest, on Monday 16th August …

The duo have also now announced details of a tour they are doing with Moshi Moshi labelmate, James Yuill.

You may have noticed that the Glasgow gig is on a special night … Well, yes, we can confirm that Fence Records are putting on an all-day Hallowe’en party. More details will be released in the next few weeks … but expect something reliably Fence :)

While we’re here, we may as well tell you about a remix of a Silver Columns track that Canadian electro-psych genius Caribou has done. It’s a song called ‘Always On’, and it’s going to be released on 12″ next month, on Moshi Moshi.   FACT magazine are giving it away free as MP3 (gasp!) …

Fellow-Fencers, FOUND, also did a remix of the same song as an exclusive for iTunes – so you should check that out too.  If you’d like a REAL, PHYSICAL copy of the album, you can buy it from the Fence Shop  …
